Rights, Resilience and Respectful Relationships
“Respectful Relationships education is a core component of the Victorian Curriculum from foundation to year 12. It is all about embedding a culture of respect and equality across the entire school community.” Department of Education and Training
All students at Wantirna Primary participate in the Department of Education's Rights, Resilience and Respectful Relationships (RRRR) program as part of a wellbeing curriculum. This whole-school approach helps children learn how to build positive relationships, show respect for others, develop confidence, resilience and empathy. Through age-appropriate learning, students build skills in managing emotions, forming healthy friendships, solving problems and understanding respect, equality and inclusion.
The RRRR curriculum covers eight areas of social and emotional learning and supports us to create a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels valued, connected and supported. We are committed to creating a safe, inclusive and respectful environment where every child feels valued and supported.
