Meet the Teachers 

Hello, my name is Lauren Chugg and this is my second year teaching Foundation and Grade One at Wantirna Primary School. I love creating a nurturing environment within my classroom for our youngest students to thrive in. Wantirna Primary School is so special to me, as it has a very close-knit community feel and all the staff have the opportunity to get to know every student well. 

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family.  

I have thoroughly appreciated the warm welcome to the Wantirna Primary School community this year and I am excited to see the growth in my students and myself throughout this year. 

Outside of school, you can find me rummaging through local record stores seeking to add to my collection.

I love working at Wantirna Primary School because it has a wonderful community feel. I love that I know the name of every student and staff member and get the opportunity to learn about them and their interests. Outside of school I enjoy playing volleyball, playing with my dogs, spending time with family and playing different types of games.

I like working at Wantirna Primary School because it has a good community feel. I feel that I am building relationships with the students and getting to know them and their interests.

 I enjoy watching basketball and netball. I like to go for walks. 

I like to work at Wantirna Primary School as it is a very inclusive and supportive community. I enjoy exploring and developing Chinese Culture and Mandarin language with the students. 

Outside of school, I like reading, travelling and music.

I am extremely grateful to work in such a supportive and positive environment at WPS. 

It is incredibly rewarding getting to know students and helping them achieve learning goals, whilst watching them grow in our community.  

Outside of school I like to spend time making memories with family and friends, and I especially love to travel. 

I love being a part of the WPS community and working with such a supportive team.
